Welcome

Welcome to Team #226, the TEC CReW Hammerheads. We've competed annually in the FIRST Robotics Competition since 1999, making this our 10th year of competition. The team is composed of students from Troy School District high schools, most notably Troy High School and Athens High School. We have mentors from one of our sponsors, General Motors, and the support of many parents and volunteers.

Our team strives to spread the lessons of FIRST to our members, and the surrounding area. To work towards this goal, we hold many events in the community. We invite everyone to learn more about FIRST and take pictures with our mascot Sharkie at these events.

TARDEC Information and Schedule

We will be participating in the TARDEC FRC invitational tournament June 6 and 7 at Oakland University.  To participate you will need to fill out a waiver form for the June 2nd meeting.  The form, information about the tournament, and schedule are online for and compiled for printing at the TARDEC information page.

June 2nd Meeting and School Board Recognition

Team members, please plan on attending the Tuesday, June 2nd meeting at 5:30 PM in Mr. Block's room.  This will be a brief team meeting to discuss TARDEC, and other end of the year business such as middle school presentations, summer fund raising, feedback on the year, etc.  Even if you do not plan on attending the TARDEC competition, plan on attending this meeting as we will be being recognized at the following School Board Meeting.  There will be punch and cookies served prior to the recognition ceremony.  And make sure to bring your forms (filled out and signed) if you are planning on attending TARDEC.
